Method 1: Remove “leave a reply” by using Admin Dashboard Settings

Step 1:

Access your WordPress admin dashboard and go to the Settings section.
On the Settings menu, click on the Discussion area.

You can easily turn off comments on all pages or posts by using the Discussion Settings dashboard.
First, uncheck the box “Allow people to post comments on new articles“
Then, uncheck the box “Anyone posts a comment“

Method 2: Remove “leave a reply” from your posts and pages.

First we are going to remove the comment reply from the post. Now follow my path.

Remove “leave a reply” from your Posts:

Step 1:

Navigate to the All posts section of your WordPress dashboard.

First you have to select all posts by clicking on the check box in the post nav menu.
Then from the bulk actions dropdown menu, select the edit option. After that, click on the apply button.
Follow the screenshot below.

When you click on the Apply action button,
A post control section will slide down, where you can easily control the comment-related parts.
From the Comments dropdown menu, select “Do not allow.”
Do not forget to click on the Update button that will help you to disable all comments from those posts.

Remove “leave a reply” from your Pages:

The process is the same as disabling comments from the posts.

Step 1:

Navigation your WordPress dashboard then
Pages > All Pages

Step 2:

Select all posts by clicking on the check box in the post nav menu.
Then, from the bulk actions dropdown menu,
select the edit option. After that, click on the “apply” button.

Choose the “Do not allow” option from the Comments drop down menu.
Then click on the update button to save it.

If you want to disable comments on a single page or post, you can easily do it by following the same settings on single posts and pages.

Method 3: Using Gutenberg discussion panel

In this process, you can disable the “leave a reply” message on a single post or page only.

Step 1:

Navigate to your admin dashboard, then go to all posts or pages, select any single page or post, and click the edit section.

On the right side of the block editor (Gutenberg),
You need to scroll down the panel bar and find the discussion area like in the screen shot below.
Click on “discussion“. It will drop down a menu bar.
Here you need to select the “allow comments” box.
This will help you to remove the comments section from the post or page.
You must click on the Update button to save the changes.

If you’re using the “classic editor“,
Then follow these steps:
Choose any post or page, then click edit.
After that, scroll down to the bottom.
You will find a Discussion section.
